6 - 7 February 2017 - Doha - Qatar

DITTA actively participated in the 4th Regional IRPA – IOMP WHO Workshop on Radiation Safety Culture in Healthcare that was held in Doha (Qatar) on 6 – 7 February, 2017. 

This project was held under the umbrella of WHO in cooperation with IOMP and IRPA. The goal was to bring together renowned regulatory bodies, clinicians, scientists and other health professionals to share and discuss the current clinical applications and future innovative approaches in the field of Radiation Safety. It created a conductive environment promoting basic science, applied research as well as clinical applications. This workshop offered a series of diverse continuing education lectures in the applications of Radiation in Medicine.

DITTA delivered a presentation raising the stakeholders’ point of view, in order to emphasise key issues for developing a radiation safety culture in healthcare. The presentation can be find hereafter.
