DITTA and COCIR have been invited by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to participate to a “Training Course on Radiation Safety in Brachytherapy” at its Headquarters in Vienna, Austria from 14 to 18 November 2016.
The purpose of the course was to provide the participants with tools and resources to enhance radiation protection and safety in clinical applications of brachytherapy. The course also provided Member States with an opportunity to exchange their experiences and implementation approaches in the area of radiation protection and safety in brachytherapy treatments, and to learn from international good practices.
