DITTA was pleased to participate at the last International Medical Device Regulators Forum (IMDRF) meeting in Shanghai, China. In conjunction with the IMDRF meeting, we hosted a successful workshop on cybersecurity representing the views from regulators, industry, SDOs and health care providers. This workshop was attended by more than 120 participants. Some of the themes from the workshop were that cybersecurity is a global concern, it is a shared-responsibility, and that IMDRF has an important role to play to coordinate regulatory activities. We were also invited to present at the IMDRF Management Committee and the day after to the Open Forum. DITTA contribution was well-received. DITTA’s key messages to the IMDRF can be found here.
DITTA continues its efforts and support to IMDRF in other important matters such as MDSAP, UDI but also while remaining NGO in official relations with World Health Organization and continues its constructive partnership with the World Bank developing joint efforts towards new financing models such as Managed Equipment Services.
