COCIR Actively Promotes Healthcare Infrastructure

As part of its commitment to support the provision of quality healthcare worldwide, COCIR* is sponsoring the Ninth European Health Forum Gastein (EHFG) ‘Health sans frontières’ on 4-7 October in Bad Hofgastein, Austria.

COCIR is providing a platform to discuss the use of EU funding (Structural Funds) for healthcare through its session ‘Improving Healthcare Infrastructure’ on 4 and 5 October.

You are invited to attend the COCIR session or to contact us for more information.  A second press release will be sent to members of the media on 5 October after the COCIR press briefing.

Modern infrastructure is essential for economic development.  In the European Union today, borders are disappearing and Member States are linked by road, rail and air.

Healthcare too is crucial for social and economic development and requires an infrastructure which can also cross borders.  EU Structural Funds can be used for healthcare projects, contributing to cohesion and economic development in the new Member States and Accession Countries.

*COCIR represents the radiology, electromedical and healthcare IT industry in Europe.
