Microsoft enriching COCIR’s membership

COCIR is pleased to welcome Microsoft as a new member. Microsoft Health sector provides technology solutions to improve patient care by streamlining access to multiple applications and patient data. These solutions address the critical challenge faced by healthcare providers of integrating vast amounts of clinical, administrative and financial information from disparate information systems and tailor that information for use by doctors, analysts, laboratory technicians, nurses and administrators.

Microsoft is committed to improving health around the world through innovation in software. Over the past decade, the company has gradually increased its presence in healthcare and now becomes a member of COCIR to better contribute to and interact with policy environment and key players in European healthcare systems.

Microsoft Public Sector EMEA Vice President Niels Solberg emphasises “We believe in the importance of cross-industry collaboration to drive transformation in healthcare in close cooperation with key stakeholders. Membership of COCIR will help us to achieve this.”
