New Chairman Appointed At COCIR

 

 

COCIR is delighted to announce the appointment of a New Chairman. Heinrich von Wulfen was appointed to take over from outgoing Chairman Frank Anton.

 

Heinrich von Wulfen has been in the medical technology business since 1983 when he joined Siemens Medical straight from university. 

 

During this time, he has held different senior management positions within Siemens Medical in the <st1:country-region w:st="on">US</st1:country-region>, <st1:country-region w:st="on">Germany</st1:country-region> and <st1:place w:st="on">Asia</st1:place>.  In all his positions he has focused on strengthening customer relationships. In 2006 he became the President of European Sales and Service within Siemens Medical Solutionsand in April 2007 he took over the position of COCIR Chairman.

 

“I am honoured to be appointed Chairman of COCIR.  It is an exciting time for the medical technology industry and for European competitiveness in a global market.  We represent an innovative industry at a time of great development.  I hope that through COCIR we will continue to improve healthcare conditions worldwide”, Heinrich von Wulfen said.

 

“We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to outgoing Chairman Frank Anton for his commitment and leadership and we wish him all the best in the future.  He leaves COCIR in the capable hands of Heinrich von Wulfen” said Nicole Denjoy, COCIR Secretary General.
