COCIR, the European Coordination Committee of the Radiological, Electromedical and Healthcare IT Industry, is delighted to announce the opening of its new office in the Diamant Building in Brussels, and a new team including a new Secretary General, Nicole Denjoy.

An efficient healthcare system is a necessary condition for sustainable economic development and is key for meeting the goals of the Lisbon agenda.  The healthcare sector is growing rapidly in Europe and medical progress, innovation, eHealth and emerging technologies are drivers for this growth. 

COCIR, a major partner in policy and regulatory dialogue on the future of healthcare in Europe, has moved to Brussels to strengthen the dialogue with policymakers and the European institutions.  COCIR also cooperates with other organisations on areas of common interest.

Secretary General Nicole Denjoy who has over 20 years experience in the international healthcare sector, said she is “very excited” to represent COCIR in Brussels.  “By promoting sophisticated, constantly-evolving technology and efficient healthcare processes, we can help improve healthcare and life quality for citizens”, she said.
